Looking for a new app to keep you busy? Want something that relates to you? These next downloadable apps are just what you need.
Tumblr (available for any Apple or Android device) is a mix of Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, but just a little bit better. You can still meet your social networking needs, but with Tumblr you get to share more than just status updates or images. You get to share longer videos than on Instagram, still get to chat in private with other members and you get to add links to your favorite websites.
Pandora Radio (available on any Apple or Android device) is a free music app that lets you create and listen to stations that best fit your style. Like a certain band? Create a station that includes them and other artists twho have a similar music style. You also have the ability to skip up to six songs at a time, thumb up or down and make comments about the album or song you are listening to.
Pic Collage (available on both The Appstore and Google Play) is a free app that combines photography with frames, backgrounds and text. You can get creative and make a collage about anything. From your favorite bands to a happy birthday message to your best friend, with Pic Collage you can do it in style.
Quizlet (available on all Apple, Android, and Windows devices) is a free study helper that allows you to make your own flashcards and can even generate a practice test. You can also study offline, if need be, and print your work. It’s a really good app if you happen to be taking a foreign language or even an English course.
Last but not least, there’s Vine (available for all Apple and Android devices). Vine is a social networking app that allows you to record or upload a 60 second video that replays over and over so you can enjoy it. With this app you can get “up close and personal” with your favorite stars or just have a laugh with one of your friends. You can also comment on the video or share the link to it on your profile. The best part is that the app is free!
