Read all the latest stories from Ardrey Kell and beyond the Castle.

WHAT WE’RE ALL ABOUT

The AK Chronicle provides an open platform for all Ardrey Kell students and faculty members to display their talents, voice their opinions and share their views on issues and topics that interest them. The Chronicle runs on the basic principle that everyone should be heard. At a school with a student population greater than 3000, it is difficult to showcase one’s uniqueness and voice one’s opinion in a fashion that enables every person to learn about another to the fullest. And at a school with so much diversity and spirit, it is only right that a running newspaper be founded whose sole purpose is to foster those qualities. For the first time, students at AK do not have to be a member of a club or a student in a class to contribute to a school publication.

The AK Chronicle is a student run and student led body of editors and reporters who work towards this publication. The Chronicle is a student-created news publication whose mission is to showcase student achievement, inform the Ardrey Kell High School community of upcoming issues and events, and provide entertainment for students and faculty at AK. The Chronicles staff produces an online website while learning the roles of staff writers, photographers, editors, and business managers. We will uphold all press standards in the creation of this publication and abide by ethical and legal practices set in place by press laws.
