If you want a scholarship, it is important to be on the lookout for certain scholarship opportunities from high school. Since scholarships are demanding and many students apply for them each year, it can be a really tricky job to find them if you are too late.


Start by finding your dream university and what field or career to achieve. It is really important to know what career you want to choose in order to go on the right track in your research for a good university for that certain field.


The main step in order to get a scholarship is to have a good academic profile, especially in your high school years. As said, high school years are the most significant years of your academic life because universities mostly look at your academic performance from high school.


In high school, GPA is based on your grades and it comes down between the scales of 1-4, max 5 if weighted. If you want your chances of scholarships to be high, it is important to have a GPA of at least a 3 in order to have a good academic profile for high school.


Taking the PSAT and SAT/ACT and getting a good score between a range of 1200-1600 will also increase your chances of getting a scholarship. Universities prefer students to take the exam twice if they want higher chances of getting a scholarship.


There are many other opportunities to get scholarships! If you are currently in 10-12 grades, you might have started your search for your dream university. Starting by making sure you have a good academic profile would be a great step to start your journey to your dream university.
